Hi! I'm Bronson and I'm 3 years old.  I weigh about 10 pounds, but I'm not fat. My foster mama says I'm "just right". She also says I'm her special boy. I lived most of my life in a cage, so this living in a home where people love me is still new to me. I love toys and am very happy to play by myself. I'm learning to play with my foster brothers too.  My foster mama says the best thing is that I'm learning to snuggle. At first I was scared and wanted to sleep in my crate. But now I sleep in bed with my mom and I even snuggle next to her. That makes her very happy. It's been so, so cold since I've been with my foster family that I haven't really gone outside much. But I do my best to always potty on the potty papers.  I think once it gets a little warmer, I'll learn to go outside too! Anyway, I'm learning more every day that I can trust and love a family. Now I just need one of my own.  If you're looking for a special pup to join your family, we might be just right for each other. How about if you come and visit me and we can find out?  Okay? Many of our dogs are rescued from commercial breeders where they spent their lives getting comfort from their canine friends.  In turn, most require another companion dog in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog, and do not currently have a dog residing with you, please understand that your home might not be the right fit for many of our dogs.

ADOPTION EVENTS:  




Adoption events are updated as the foster home RSVP's to attend. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. You may wish to consider applying and setting up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved.

Note: In most circumstances Underdog Rescue will only adopt within 60 miles of Minneapolis, MN.

FOSTER CARE:





All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves. NUTRITION:





Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets.  All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as NutriSource, Canidae, Orijen, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Pure Vita, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, or balanced raw diet.  All adopters are required to continue providing premium diets for the life of the animal.
